Broadoak And Smallshaw Community Association
is a council owned facility that is independently managed and administered by a management committee elected from within the membership of the centre with expert advice obtained if and when necessary.
Revenues for gas, electric etc., maintenance and site improvement costs are raised from the centre users and grant opportunities as appropriate.
The ethos is to provide as many opportunities for the local community as possible, be it for educational, young people, job search, recreational, leisure, fitness, local and formal meetings, seminars, conferences, birthday and Christmas parties....and much much more.
We also have on site the area's local neighbourhood Police Post.
We have charitable status and are able to help with numerous grant applications from our group.
The constitution and objective statement are on public view.
